Educational Background:

  • Previous Qualification: Applicants should have successfully completed a Level 3 qualification (e.g., Level 3 Diploma, Certificate, A-levels, BTEC National Diploma) or hold an equivalent credential. Higher qualifications are also accepted.

  • Minimum Age: Applicants must be 18 years or older. This program is designed to support both recent graduates and experienced professionals in advancing their careers.

Course Content

  • • Understanding Child Development (Birth to Five Years): Child Development, Developmental Stages, Play, Learning
  • • Safeguarding Children and Young People: Child Protection, Safeguarding Procedures, Child Welfare, Risk Assessment
  • • Supporting Children's Learning and Development: Early Years Foundation Stage, Play-based Learning, Observation, Assessment
  • • Planning and Implementing an Early Learning Programme: Curriculum Planning, Learning Objectives, Differentiated Learning, Child-initiated Learning
  • • Health, Safety and Wellbeing of Children: Nutrition, Hygiene, First Aid, Health and Safety Regulations
  • • Working in Partnership with Parents and Carers: Parent Communication, Family Support, Inclusion, Partnership Working
  • • Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND): Inclusion, SEND Code of Practice, Adapting Activities, Individualised Learning Plans

Assessment

The evaluation process is conducted through the submission of assignments, and there are no written examinations involved.
